We have just returned from our Create the Canvas Pin-Up Girl event at the Magic Stick.
Photos to follow soon...I promise.
Chris has really done a great job of putting these shows together and I'd have to say, tonight was his best yet. Great music, great artists...great company of my husband.
Clint and I collaborated on this one...with him doing the pinstriping and me doing the pin-up. We just haven't had time to work on our respective things as of late, so we figured that this would be our best bet to actually finish something.
As we sat in a traffic jam on I-75, we decided that we are sick of deadlines. I realized that I, personally, have been shooting towards a variety of different deadlines since April. Ew. Too much.
We hadn't sold anything by the time we left....but we left pretty early because we're old and Clint had twenty thousand feet of snow to remove around the city.
However, Joe, my brother-in-law, was a hit and ended up selling all three of his pieces.
If you don't know Joe Zadorsky, you should, silly.
I have put a lot of crafty stuff on hold due to laziness, being burnt out and the holidays. I hope to have more beavers and stuff after the new year. Maybe even some new products. My Gemini nature means I become bored quickly.
So, for right now, I am free to lounge about on the couch and watch movies....aside from the Yo Gabba Gabba hoodies that need to be completed for the nieces by Wednesday.
Wheeee.
