Wow.
I have never been so excited as when I woke up Saturday morning. Losing my craft fair virginity couldn't have gone better.
We made a killing at the DUCF....selling out of beavers by 2pm and only bringing home a handful of our inventory at the end of the night. I was in a handmade shock for the rest of the weekend.
Luckily, my friend Becca came all the way from Chicago to help my out...otherwise I would've never made it on my own through the day. She's a professional...so she had great advice and was my saviour. (Check out rebeccabags.com silly!)
I can't even express how amazing and most of all, encouraging this experience was for me.

Becca and I in our senior picture poses. I look sort of like a rapist and Becca is cute as always.

The table and the banner that sweet Becca pie made for me. Isn't it high-class?

Look at how colorful our table was. Look at how excited Becca's face was.

Winners.
We rocked a rhyme.
We ate celebratory Big Mac's and Quarter Pounders afterwards.
Momma was so proud.
Thank you to all the people who supported the Proper Peach at the DUCF. It was so awesome to hear all the nice things people had to say about my creations. I really don't think that buyers realize how much I appreciate them....it's the most validating experience I have had as a crafter to date.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I hope to join the DUCF club next year...and maybe I'll see you there.
