Now...this is love and devotion.

Clint, Joan and I went to my dad's house for Easter dinner. My stepmom, Lisa, made this insanely out-of-control meal....beef wellington, potatoes, asparagus, salad...the works. I was under the impression that only rich folks in movies ate beef wellington, so I felt like Daddy Warbucks for most of the evening. Delicious!
Lisa has been really getting into cookie-making lately. And by "getting into", I mean completely obsessed. My dad shows me photos of platters of cookies for his cigar club, cookies for St. Pat's day, cookies because it's Wednesday...you get the idea here.
Lisa downloaded images of all of the Yo Gabba Gabba characters and made a special batch for Joanie this weekend. Before I get into how amazing they were...please look at this photo for yourself. Please save your applause until the end of this post.

Can you believe this?
She cut out all the characters by hand and then iced them all individually, going off of photos. Needless to say, Joan loved and adored and chowed down on these babies. Aren't they perfect?

What a great Lisa! She surely has won Joan's love and adoration. I just had to share these...mostly because they will have disappeared by mid-week. They aren't only good-looking...they are super good too.

Thanks for the acknowledging Lisa's efforts B. She loves you guys as do I. Is she a great wife or what? Love you, Dad.
